cheap frugal. I like to save money any way I can. And what better way than to get something for free! That is right, free!
The next time you use green onions or scallions in a recipe, save those little root ends.
Put them, root end down, in a shallow glass of water.
Change the water every few days, and in a few weeks, you will have fresh green onions to use for your next recipe!
